About this event
Beyond the Journey is a space for those on a path of personal growth—whether through meditation, therapy, or psychedelic experiences—to slow down and return to the wisdom within. Grounded in Buddhist-inspired meditation and informed by the insights of psychedelic care, this gathering invites you to deepen your self-awareness, cultivate compassion, and connect with a like-minded community.
Over the course of the evening, we’ll move through:
- A short talk and intention-setting
- A guided meditation rooted in mindfulness or compassion practice
- Space for sharing and reflection
- A period of shared silence
- An optional tea hour to connect more casually with others
This is not a psychedelic event—no substances will be taken—but it is psychedelic-informed: shaped by the understanding that contemplative practice and altered states of consciousness often illuminate the same truths, and that community can be a powerful container for integrating those insights.
Whether you’re looking to deepen your meditation practice, integrate recent experiences, or simply take a breath from the rush of daily life, you’re warmly invited to join us.
Doors open at 7pm and the event begins at 7:15, because of the nature of the event there is no entry after 7:30 so please arrive on time.
Miles Bukiet, LMSW: Miles bridges contemplative practice with trauma therapy and psychedelic care. With over 10,000 hours of training in mind-body disciplines, he brings a combination of clinical depth, strategic insight, and contemplative experience to his role. He holds graduate degrees in Social Work (Columbia) and Applied Positive Psychology (U Penn), and is trained in IFS, AEDP, MDMA-assisted therapy (MAPS), and ketamine-assisted therapy (PRATI). He’s also been a study therapist at NYU’s Center for Psychedelic Medicine. Before entering the clinical world, Miles spent years in intensive Buddhist practice—including two years in solitary retreat—and is certified to teach both CCT and CBCT (compassion-based programs from Stanford and Emory respectively).
Suzy Baker: With a rich background in Psychedelic Integration, Yoga, Meditation, End-of-Life Care, and Religious Studies, Suzy holds space with grounded presence and deep care. Her work is informed by a wide range of spiritual traditions bringing a blend of helpful coaching and soulful friendship to each session— a place to process experiences, explore life transitions, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.
