Each week will feature different objects to make abstract art:

Oct. 14th: Bubble Wrap & Scribbles: A Playful Art Adventure

What You’ll Learn:

  • Abstract composition
  • Color theory
  • How to use common household items to make abstract paintings
  • Blending colors
  • Using markers and chalk for abstract work

What You’ll Need:

  • Acrylic paints
  • A watercolor paint set that includes
  • 1 watercolor brush, size 6 or 8, but really any paintbrush will work
  • Ideally, watercolor or multimedia paper. Copy paper can be used but note that paint may bleed through.
  • Paper towels
  • Water in a plastic cup or glass
  • Black and white markers or gel pens
  • Optional: A hairdryer to speed up the drying of paint

These are a list of suggested supplies but feel free to use whatever supplies you have!
