As the year comes to a close, nature calls us to slow down — to listen, reflect, and integrate all we’ve experienced.
December rests in the North on the Medicine Wheel, the realm of wisdom, completion, and deep inner knowing. It’s a sacred season to honor the journey we’ve taken — the lessons learned, the growth embodied, and the energy ready to be released.

In the North, we come to rest — not in stagnation, but in stillness that carries wisdom. This direction teaches us to trust the cycles of completion, to bow to all that has unfolded, and to integrate what we’ve learned before stepping forward once more. As we breathe and listen together, we honor the full circle of the year — its challenges, its gifts, and its teachings. Return to Stillness is both a clearing and a celebration: a way to close the year with reverence and step into the next with presence and peace.

This evening immersion is an invitation to pause, breathe, and celebrate your becoming. Through the union of conscious breath and healing sound, you’ll be guided into a state of deep rest, renewal, and remembrance.

The Breath

Guided somatic breathwork serves as a powerful tool for transformation — a way to move stagnant energy, open the lungs and heart, and bring coherence to the nervous system.
As breath deepens, oxygen floods the body, awakening dormant vitality and restoring balance to the mind. The practice helps:

  • Release stored emotions and tension from the body
  • Regulate the nervous system and increase resilience
  • Expand awareness and mental clarity
  • Deepen connection to intuition and embodied wisdom

You’ll be safely guided through rhythmic breathing patterns that awaken presence and grounds you in the moment. Breath becomes a bridge between your conscious awareness and your deeper self — clearing, aligning, and returning you to center.

The Sound

After the breathwork engagement, sound becomes the medicine.
You’ll be immersed in a live soundscape of crystal singing bowls, drum, gong, and voice — each vibration resonating through the cellular, emotional, and energetic layers of your being.

Sound waves naturally help entrain the brain into meditative states, soothing the vagus nerve and harmonizing the energy centers of the body.
The result is a state of whole-body coherence — where heart, mind, and spirit rest in alignment.

Breathwork Contraindications

While Conscious Connected Breathwork can be deeply restorative, it may not be appropriate for everyone. Participants with the following conditions should consult their healthcare provider before engaging in this practice:

If any of these conditions apply—or if you simply prefer a softer experience—you are invited to practice mindful, gentle breathing at your own pace. Techniques such as nasal breathing, box breathing, or extending the exhale can promote deep relaxation and safety. All participants will continue to receive the benefits of Reiki energy and the soothing resonance of sound healing throughout the journey.

Those who are pregnant, have severe or uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, recent surgery or injury, epilepsy or seizure disorders, glaucoma or retinal detachment, aneurysms or a family history of aneurysms, or severe mental health conditions such as untreated bipolar disorder or schizophrenia. Individuals with a history of significant trauma or panic disorder may also wish to approach the practice gently or consult with a licensed professional beforehand.
