PART 1 - We'll be laying the foundation for your AI Partner including setting up your IDE (we will be using VS Code, install goodies and get our AI Partners up and live.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind, hands-on experience where you’ll go beyond basic bots and step into the future of personalized AI innovation.

In this 2-part workshop experience, you’ll learn how to implement your own AI assistant — one that’s designed to work for you, think with you, and amplify your brilliance. We're taking it back to the tech and getting you hands on experience so that you can move the needle and take back control.

Implement your AI Partner, season it just how you like and then put it that knowledge to work for you. This is a part of BWITs mission to " Teach. Engage. Serve. " and is a part of the 1000 Women Rising in Tech initiative for 2025.

Please ensure you are comfortable with navigation, set up your virtual background and access your camera quality (BEFORE) the event. Check event materials for a great video to help with testing your setup.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a development session?

YES we will be using code, code editors, command line, and applications for this course. We will teach you what you to know for the course but do not have bandwidth to teach you technology basics in this session. It is intended for intermediate to advanced.

I have an Apple, Mac or Linux Device...

Windows Users (PC) will be the focus of this event Apple/Mac - users are welcome but should be experienced / self-sufficient or bring their own tech support Linux welcome, but this is not a Linux support session — bring your own hacks.

Will I be able to implement AI during this course?

Yes that is one of the outcomes. We are implementing your own private AI Partner to support your personal needs. This is not intended for commercial use.

What tools will I need?

Please ensure you have the following: Administrator or installation rights on your device, VS Code, Google Meet, PC/Laptop 16GB+ RAM is recommended
