We will explore what is happening in Palestine, and explore both the root causes and the consequences of the conflict, especially through the eyes of refugees.
The story of Palestine is also a story of displacement. For decades, millions of Palestinians have lived as refugees, some still in camps, others spread across the world. Their experience shows what it means to live in exile for generations, and the resilience it takes to keep building life and community in the face of ongoing conflict.
At the same time, aid agencies working in Palestine and with Palestinian refugees face huge challenges: restrictions on movement, limited resources, and political barriers all make it harder to meet urgent needs on the ground.
In this Beyond Bath, we will hear voices and stories that bring us closer to the lived reality of Palestinian refugees, and we will explore the obstacles humanitarian organisations face when trying to deliver support. This will be a space for reflection, solidarity, and dialogue about displacement, dignity, and hope.
