Between the Lines: A Book Club on Sex, Intimacy & Feminism
A Literary Workshop on Desire, Words, and Who Gets to Write Them
Have you ever found yourself turning pages, searching for that moment — a kiss, a glance, a brush of skin — written so carefully it almost made you hold your breath?
This workshop is a space to explore how sex, sensuality, and intimacy are described in literature — by both women and men. From the poetic to the raw, from subtle tension to bold passion, we want to talk about how these moments are written and how we read them.
✨ Bring your own book.
Share a short passage that moved you — it could be a kiss, a scene, a memory. Something that captured the complexity of desire.
We’ll read aloud, reflect, and open up a conversation around:
How different genders write about sex
What makes a passage feel real, moving, or awkward
Our own limits and desires when it comes to intimacy
How literature shaped (or confused) our expectations
Feminism, ownership, and the silence we’re breaking
This is not a lecture — it’s a collective rediscovery. An invitation to speak freely, laugh, listen, and maybe even blush.
Let’s read sex differently.
