Join us for an intimate evening at Jonah Allen Gallery where the calm of still imagery meets the energy of the moving sea.
Between Stillness and Motion invites you to experience the rhythm behind Jonah Allen’s work — the space between serenity and chaos that defines both his photography and his life on the water.
Set within the gallery’s tranquil glow, guests will experience the unveiling of Peak No. 156, a commanding large-scale piece from Jonah’s Peak Series. As daylight fades, the gallery transforms into a cinematic space for a one-time-only screening:
🎥 The Exclusive Debut of the Gulf of Dreams Trailer — a first look at Jonah’s upcoming feature film documenting his decade-long quest to ride and photograph waves in the Gulf of Mexico.
🌊 The Encore Showing of the Hawaii Short Film — a 15-minute reflection on courage, brotherhood, and beauty, shown only once before and unavailable online.
As images, sound, and story converge, guests will feel the heartbeat of Jonah’s creative journey — from stillness to motion, and back again.
This is more than a gallery event.
It’s a cinematic meditation on water, art, and the spaces between.
Seats are limited. Don’t miss your chance to experience the story, the art, and the awe behind one of Jonah’s most iconic works.
