Organizer South Carolina Coalition for the Homeless

Organizer of Best Practices in Homeless Services

The South Carolina Coalition for the Homeless (SCCH) has partnered with the SC Department of Mental Health to host a series of trainings on best practices in homeless services. The trainings are funded through a DMH grant awarded by SAMHSA called Cooperative Agreement to Benefit Homeless Individuals.

SCCH is an interagency council and statewide network of advocates, service providers, state agencies and funders committed to ending homelessness. SCCH has several focus areas: researching the experience of homelessness in SC, advocating for people who are homeless, responding to state and federal homelessness policy and promoting collaboration and peer support among those professionals working in the field and across the four continuums of care in the state.
