Description

Stars Juliet Stevenson and Henry Goodman join top concert pianist Lucy Parham to tell the passionate, tragic, and volatile relationship of renowned musician Clara, her husband the composer Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms. In this 200th year of Clara's birth, a compelling story is unveiled through their music and readings from the Schumanns' frank, jointly-written marriage diaries, in a powerful Composer Portrait created by Lucy Parham. This peformance is arranged, through Highgate Has Heart, in aid of refugee charity Young Roots (charity no.1139685). Tickets include a welcome drink, and canapes. There will be a cash bar, chances to meet the cast, and a raffle.
