About the workshop


In this workshop, we will explore what belonging means through arts. We will create collages to create a vision of home, perseverance, and hope.

The workshop will end with a small group sharing session about their art piece.

No artistic skills required to participate and all are welcome.

Location

The location is called 'Kansalais Toiminnankeskus' and is close to Ainoa shopping mall and Heikkintori in Tapiola. We will be using the 2nd floor 'Olkkari' and it can be accessed via the stairs or elevator.

About the Facilitators

We are a DIAK (Diaconia University of Applied Sciences) student group studying social services. As part of a our practical learning, we organizing an arts-based workshop around the theme of Belonging. We hope to use art to to build a safe and creative space for participants to explore self-expression, connection, and shared understanding.
