How do we prepare for our adventure?

Double-check the meeting location, time, and contact information for the hike. Wear sturdy, comfortable hiking shoes and dress in weather-appropriate layers. Hats and sunglasses are great for sunny days, and rain jackets for light showers.

What should we bring?

Bring Essentials. Pack a small backpack with the following suggestions: water for each family member, sunscreen and insect repellent, any necessary medications, extra clothes for young kids (just in case).

Yes, it is a paved trail.

Where do we meet and park?

We will meet in front of Woodside shelter. There is lined street parking directly before coming to Woodside Drive Shelter. We will then walk to the trail head.
