Behind The Headlines

Behind The Headlines

By Story District

Overview

True stories from DC’s Black journalists, honest, personal, and real.

We see the headlines. We read the bylines. But what about the stories behind them?

In this show, DC’s Black journalists take the stage to share what the public doesn’t always see, the pressure, the moments that changed them, the fight to be heard, and what it takes to keep telling the truth.

These are true, personal stories about navigating newsrooms, chasing stories that matter, and holding it all together when the stakes are high.
