Behavior as Communication: A Regulation-Focused Approach

Join us at Downtown Presbyterian Church for an engaging session covering key areas such as how children’s behaviors and emotions are shaped by safety, attachment, and developing regulatory systems. The training will explore ways to recognize dysregulation, compare approaches to behavior change, and apply a regulation-based framework in work with young clients, including guidance for communicating this approach effectively to caregivers. This event is ideal for clinicians and community members in schools, agencies, or private practice who want to deepen their understanding of child behavior through a regulation- and attachment-focused lens.
