Welcome to Beginning West Coast Swing in Bothell!

Come join us at Washington School of Dance on July 7th - August 17th, 2025, 7:30-8:30pm for a fun and exciting 6 week Summer Session. (Price is for all 6 weeks!)

Our experienced instructor will guide you through the basics of West Coast Swing in a relaxed and friendly environment.

No partner or experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

What does West Coast Swing look like?

What should I wear?

You can wear anything comfortable for dancing. Generally pants and a comfortable athleisure shirt are worn. The best shoes are flat-soled shoes like Toms or Vans or dance shoes (not sneakers).

Do I need a partner?

You're welcome to come alone and learn to dance, no partner necessary! :)

Can I bring a partner?

Absolutely! As this is a social dance, we do encourage rotation, but it is not required. If you are bringing a partner and don't wish to rotate to new partners, please let the instructor know when you arrive and you won't be in the rotation.

Is this dance accessible?

Yes! This is a low impact dance and is very comfortable for dancers of all abilities.
