Frequently asked questions
Here's a video that explains it in 30 seconds! https://youtu.be/RMjYdtg4E9k?si=qDX5tYJBFAr9lHzv
NO! We welcome and encourage solo dancers! If we discouraged solo dancers, we'd be sad. Round Dancing is for all: couples, friend groups, families, and solos! Some choose to learn alone. Some will dance with friends; old and new. And some mix it up and do both!
There are dances almost every month right here is Moses Lake that you will be able to dance at! From September to June, The 4x8's host dances twice a month. AND there are dances all over world that you could be a part of!
The price is for the 【entirety】 of the session! 【The whole kit and kaboodle, the whole enchilada, the works, the whole shebang, the full monty】I think you get the point...
Any shoes can work. The best shoes are ones that stay on and are comfortable but aren't grippy at the ball of your foot. Grippy heels are good. Grippy toes are a no. Your joints will thank me.
NO! Dancers usually dress casual during lessons. When attending dances, you will see an array of attire from casual to dressy casual to full "round dance" or "square dance" attire! Some love petticoats and fluff, some don't, but we all ❤ love ❤ to dance!
As with most things we learn, we build skills upon skills upon skills so occasionally dropping in doesn’t really work. (Life happens and an occasional missed class can be made up.)
We are all individuals and like with most things, it depends on factors such as time, effort, and natural ability. But the best thing to realize is this is a social dance activity! There is no judge or competition. The goal is to have fun moving to music with friends!
