Hands -on sewing classes for adults.

Santa Rosa Chapter of the American Sewing Guild is proud to offer a hands-on, adult sewing class in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you're brand new to sewing or brushing up on the basics, you'll learn essential skills including:

  • How to use a sewing machine
  • Understanding fabric grain and seam allowances
  • A variety of common seam techniques
  • How to sew in a zipper (for those with more experience)

By the end of the class, you’ll complete a simple project to take home.

A supply list will be mailed to you upon registration.

There are a limited number of sewing machines to borrow for those who don’t have one.

Registration is required and class size is limited.
