Beginning Argentine tango classes with Mira Barakat (four dates)
Overview
Mira Barakat is back to teach Argentine tango at La Bruja! This class focuses on the core figures of social tango. Mira emphasizes the dance techniques that make nonverbal communication possible in social dancing. Join us for a fun, challenging class!
These classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers,” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people. No partner necessary; the teacher encourages people to switch partners throughout the class.
