Beginner’s Samba Pop-Up Shop!

Have you heard of Brazil's culturally significant dance called Samba? With its percussive foundation originating from the coasts of west Africa. To the creation of the dance's precise arm-hip-foot movement in Brazil; the horrors of the transatlantic slave-trade did not diminish the unending resilience of Brazil's Afro-diaspora. Part of that is Samba.

Samba emerged into my life during one of it's most trying times and I've not been able to shake it since. It has reinforced discipline and taught me the importance of self-reliance. I am blessed to have traveled to Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2023 and regularly train with my world-renown Brazilian instructors since 2020.
