Beginners pottery class

Come learn how to throw on the wheel! This is a 2-hour introductory class for new students providing a hands-on experience that will teach the basics of throwing pottery. Techniques will be explored with our instructor who will take you step by step on how to throw on the wheel including: centering, pulling walls, surface decoration, and more contingent on your level!

After the guided class is over, you are welcome to stick around and continue creating. In this class you will create decorative pieces that can be taken home the same day. For an additional fee your pieces can be left for firing which will make them water proof and more durable. After that, if you would like to make them food safe you can sign up for a glazing class.

Karaoke is optional/available upon request Attire: We ask that you dress comfortably and lightly as well as secure any hanging accessories and jewelry. Students with long hair are required to tie their hair up.

Cancelation Policy: We offer a full refund for all slots purchased if you advise us more than 48 hours in advanced If you are unable to cancel or need to reschedule within that 48 hour window we must exceed a $20 fee per slot to cover the cost of your reservation. We appreciate your understanding as it is difficult to fill a seat in less than 48 hours time. This class will be located at our home studio!
