Beginner’s Candle Making Workshop ️️

Join us at Willowbrook Farms for a hands-on introduction to the art of candle making. This beginner-friendly workshop will guide you through the full process of creating your own container candles, from selecting materials to pouring and finishing.

During class, you will learn how different waxes, wicks, fragrances, and dyes work together to create a clean, even-burning candle. You will safely melt wax, prepare wicks, mix fragrance and color, and pour two candles of your own to take home.

This workshop is designed to be relaxed, creative, and approachable, making it a great experience for first-time candle makers and anyone curious about trying a new craft.

Light refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase during the class.

What You Will Take Home

Each participant will receive:

• Two hand-poured, custom candles created during the workshop
• A beginner-friendly candle making guide with step-by-step instructions and safety tips
• Foundational candle making knowledge to continue creating at home

Who This Class Is For

Adults and teens who enjoy hands-on creative projects and learning new skills. No prior candle making experience is required.

What to Bring

Nothing is required. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn something new.

All materials are provided.

About Your Instructor

This class is led by Farmer Vanessa, who will guide participants through the candle making process in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Where the Workshop Takes Place

The workshop takes place in the south barn, located past the farm store. When you arrive at Willowbrook Farms, park near the farm store and follow the signs for the workshop area.
