Beginner/Intermediate Handbuilding in Clay 6-week Artist Series
Overview
Starts February 3rd (Tuesdays from 10:00AM-1:00PM for 6 weeks).
Explore sinuous coil techniques, fun pinch pots, and versatile soft slab projects as well as paddle pots. Glaze your personal pieces and come away with truly unique finished pieces. Learn five different techniques in the six week session as well as glazing ideas, plus "tricks of the trade" for intermediate students and more technical advice if wanted.
Fee does not include materials. Clay and glaze can be purchased from the instructor.
Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.

About the instructor: Lee Cummings has over fifty years experience working with clay--thirty as a production potter, taught at Germantown Academy and Unity College, and had a one person show at the University Museum in Bangor, as well as sold her work through Littlefield Gallery and Greenhut Gallery.
