About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

In this class you'll learn about simple looms and start your weaving adventure. Bring an old t-shirt from home and we'll up-cycle it to a small cloth you can use as a drinks mat, under a plant pot or to clean up small messes. We'll cut your t-shirt into one long strip, go over the parts of a loom and all the tools used during weaving and then get started.

This is a fun and relaxing activity recommended for those 13 and up. We'll be adding intermediate and advanced weaving classes later this summer so make sure to grab a spot in one of our Intro classes now.

100% cotton t-shirts are the best for this activity, although a cotton/poly blend will work. T-shirts with more than 2% spandex are not right for this activity.
