This beginner American mahjong night is best for complete beginners to the game or anyone who needs a refresher of the beginner basics.  We learn the tiles, game setup, decoding the card, dealing, passing, and playing.  Players leave with a reference sheet to play again in the future.

This lesson is for learning American mahjong using the National Mah Jongg League card and NMJL standard rules.  You will learn the correct rules so you can join a game anywhere you go!  (Note this is NOT the same common game as the matching game found on your phone )
