About this event

Sarah Kornbluth will be sharing the results of a survey of the bees of Madison Square Park. Working together with the Madison Square Park Conservancy and using multiple methods, over 30 bee species were found. We will learn about the bee community in this urban park and how to support the diverse species based on their resource needs.

Sarah Kornbluth is a Field Associate in the Division of Invertebrate Zoology at the American Museum of Natural History. She is interested in how we can manage land to support native bees and other organisms. She is an expert in bee species identification.

This webinar is part of the NYC Pollinator Working Group 2025 Speaker Series: "Pollinator Research in New York City".
