Beekeeping Workshop with Island Bee Project

Kick off our market season with East NY Farms and our partners from Island Bee Project NYC to learn about apiculture (beekeeping)! Select participants will get the opportunity to suit up and tour Island Bee Project’s new aviaries on our Youth Farm and get an up close look at our bees. All participants will get a chance to look into the inner workings of a hive.

Please note, workshop space is limited and a waiver is required to attend. Inspecting is weather dependent and may not be possible depending on the weather that day. Waivers can be filled out online ahead of the workshop HERE.
