Participants will be introduced to the ancient art of beekeeping and will learn about the science of honey bee reproduction and honey production.

The Spring course begins just as the bees are building up for the summer season. A visit to view the hives will be arranged when the weather is warm enough. Participants will learn about this fascinating little insect, its habitat, the impact it has on the natural world, how it makes and stores honey and what you might do as a beekeeper or gardener to help the honeybee survive in an increasingly alien world.

Course material will be sent via email each week prior to the class starting.

Refund policy: we ask that you contact us at least 7 days prior to the class starting for a refund to be issued.
