ourBRIDGE exists to enrich the lives of immigrant and refugee students as they acculturate to a new life in the United States.
For the past five years, our program has focused on our students' English acquisition, socio-emotional well-being and cultural appreciation. While these three focuses remain at the core of who we are, we have realized that recognizing our students' past experiences and becoming a trauma-informed center is the first step to honoring their humanity and creating a space that is truly responsive to all their needs.
In honor of National Lights on Afterschool Day come learn more about ourBRIDGE, what trauma informed care looks like, and the ways we are evolving to become just that!
Doors open at 6!
