Coming up Wednesday, June 4th 6:00-7:00pm is Becoming Better Neighbors: LGBTQ+ Inclusion and Empathy in Action, a workshop facilitated by Dr. Nina Tissi-Gassoway (they/she) and Cas Rego-Martin, MPPA (they/he). This workshop will engage participants in interactive learning methods to give them insight and tools on how to support Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Queer (LGBTQ) people within their community. Tissi-Gassoway is a Professor of Practice in Higher Education and Social Justice Education and Coordinator for the Social Justice Education program at University of Massachusetts Amherst. Cas Rego-Martin, MPPA (they/he) is a social justice educator and facilitator based in Western Massachusetts. Rego-Martin is passionate about co-creating brave and joyful spaces with marginalized students and educators.  Becoming Better Neighbors: LGBTQ+ Inclusion and Empathy in Action will foster understanding and community building- the perfect way to start Pride Month this June!

Próximamente Miércoles, 04 de junio 6:00-7:00pm es Convertirse en Mejores Vecinos: LGBTQ + Inclusión y Empatía en Acción, un taller facilitado por el Dr. Nina Tissi-Gassoway (ellos / ella) y Cas Rego-Martin, MPPA (ellos / ella). Este taller involucrará a los participantes en métodos de aprendizaje interactivos para darles una visión y herramientas sobre cómo apoyar a Lesbianas, Gays, Bisexuales, Trans y Queers (LGBTQ) dentro de su comunidad. Tissi-Gassoway es Profesora de Práctica en Educación Superior y Educación para la Justicia Social y Coordinadora del programa de Educación para la Justicia Social de la Universidad de Massachusetts Amherst. Cas Rego-Martin, MPPA (ellos/ellas) es un educador y facilitador de la justicia social residente en el oeste de Massachusetts. A Rego-Martin le apasiona co-crear espacios valientes y alegres con estudiantes y educadores marginados.  Ser mejores vecinos: Inclusión y empatía LGBTQ+ en acción fomentará el entendimiento y la creación de comunidad, ¡la manera perfecta de empezar el Mes del Pride este mes de junio!
