DJ Housecat (La Gata de Fuego) aka Catherine Harris-Rowell, is a DJ, music label owner, promoter and radio personality based in the Washington DC area. DJ Housecat has been active in the music industry for over 15 years and is known for her eclectic taste in music, which ranges from house music to soul, funk, jazz, and hip hop. She has played at numerous clubs and events in the United States and has a dedicated following of music enthusiasts.
In addition to her work as a DJ and radio personality, DJ Housecat is also a music producer and has released several original tracks and remixes. DJ Housecat is also a vocal advocate for women and minorities in the music industry and has organized several events and initiatives to support and promote diversity and inclusivity
Details for parking: We have a small garage attached to the building, which opens onto 39th street. There is additional free parking across the street and down the block at the community lot BEHIND the Bunker Hill Fire Station at 3716 Rhode Island Ave.
