Whether you are thinking about board service, are currently serving, or are a seasoned board member looking for a refresher – this program is for you. While we will focus on board basics, it is information that few people get when they sign on to start serving on a nonprofit board. You will also meet leaders from area nonprofits to hear more about their work and learn more about what they are looking for in potential board members.
If you require any accessibility or transportation accommodations, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist you, please reach out to Jaci Christiansen at jchristiansen@hlunitedway.org.
Training Schedule:
8:00-8:30am Networking and light breakfast
8:30-9:30am Presentation
9:30-10:30am Panel of Nonprofit Leaders
10:30-11:30am Presentation
*Participants must commit to attending both sessions upon registration.
A limited number of Be On Board program scholarships are provided thanks to the Boreal Waters Community Foundation.
