Come to Kansas City PBS' Be My Neighbor Day, where kids can meet some of their favorite PBS KIDS characters, like Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. Join us for lots of fun educational activities, and take home a free book and other goodies from Kansas City PBS and our community partners!
Be My Neighbor Day is Saturday, June 7, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Cleaver Family YMCA, 7000 Troost, KCMO. This event is free, but registration is required. Be My Neighbor Day is supported by PNC Grow Up Great.
The Cleaver Family YMCA's Food Pantry will be accepting donations of dried and canned goods. If you wish to provide a donation, please bring unopened non-perishable food goods to the event. The food pantry's priority donations include dry pasta, dry spaghetti sauce, mac & cheese, canned vegetables, canned fruit, peanut butter, jelly, pinto beans, rice, soup cans, instant potatoes, powdered milk and apple sauce.
