Be A Maker: Collagraph Printmaking Workshop with Amy Nack

By Boise City Dept. of Arts & History

Overview

Join us on November 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a printmaking workshop using layered textures to create a unique work of art.

Be A Maker is a series of hands-on, family-friendly workshops inspired by Boise artist James Castle and our current exhibition, Where Art Begins.

Through guided activities led by Boise artist Amy Nack, families can expect a welcoming, inclusive space to experiment, play, and make art together.

Collagraph printmaking is a wonderfully tactile process that invites creativity through texture and layering. Using recycled materials and found objects, we’ll build our own printing plates, apply ink, and create one-of-a-kind prints that explore pattern, shape, and surface. Take home your own hand-pulled prints to frame, gift, or use in future art projects.

All materials will be provided. This workshop is $15 per participant, with registration required.

Note: A ticket is required for all attendees, even if they are not participating. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
