Bird Watching with Golden Gate Bird Alliance

Golden Gate Bird Alliance

During the bird walk, we’ll explore the areas along Baxter Creek and the nearby park, focusing on the riparian corridors and native plant gardens that support pollinators and other local wildlife. We’ll keep an eye out for some of our beautiful winter visitors like the Yellow-rumped Warbler, Townsend’s Warbler, and Cedar Waxwing, as well as year-round residents such as the Chestnut-backed Chickadee, Bushtit, Oak Titmouse, and Red-shouldered Hawk. Bring binoculars if you have them - or borrow a pair from us!

9:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Native Plant Care and Baxter Creek Cleanup

The Watershed Project

Help plant native plants in our pollinator garden and bioswale! Learn about how green stormwater infrastructure helps reduce pollution in our waterways, then collect trash to keep our local Baxter Creek beautiful.
