Battle of the Bookstores Release Bash with Ali Brady

Join us at Lovestruck Books for an unforgettable evening celebrating the launch of Battle of the Bookstores, the latest feel-good romantic comedy from author duo Ali Brady—the powerhouse pen name of writing besties Alison Hammer and Bradeigh Godfrey!

This feel-good release bash will feature an author chat with conversation partner Courtney Marzilli, behind-the-scenes stories, and of course—plenty of romance, rivalry, and surprises. Whether you're Team Romance or Team Literary Fiction, you'll fall hard for the sparks and wit that fly in Battle of the Bookstores.

EVENT DETAILS:

• 4:30 PM: Doors Open – Get settled in and ready for the discussion!
• 5:00 PM: Discussion Begins – Ali Brady and Courtney Marzilli will dive into Battle of the Bookstores
• 5:45 PM: Q&A Session – Your chance to ask the author anything!
• 6:00 PM: Signatures, Snapping Pics, and Salutations – Meet the authors get your book signed, and snap a photo!
• 7:00 PM: Event Wraps Up – Thanks for joining us!

Check-in will take place at our front entrance on Brattle Street. If you have any accessibility needs, you're welcome to use our side entrance (located on the right side of the building), which is wheelchair accessible and has a ramp.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Ali Brady is the pen name of writing BFFs Alison Hammer and Bradeigh Godfrey. They are the USA TODAY Bestselling authors of romantic, heartwarming, funny novels including The Beach Trap, The Comeback Summer, Until Next Summer, and Battle of the Bookstores. Their books have been “best of summer” picks by The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Parade, and Katie Couric Media. Alison lives in Chicago and works as an advertising creative director. ABOUT BATTLE OF THE BOOKSTORES
Rivalry and romance spark when two bookstore managers who are opposites in every way find themselves competing for the same promotion.

Despite managing bookstores on the same Boston street, Josie Klein and Ryan Lawson have never interacted much—Josie’s store focuses on serious literature, and Ryan’s sells romance only. But when the new owner of both stores decides to combine them, the two are thrust into direct competition. Only one manager will be left standing, decided by who turns the most profit over the summer.
