Ace your interview after the Battelle Mock Interview Event

Battelle invites diversity STEM undergraduate and graduate students from Ohio State University to polish their job interview skills.

Minorities and women are underrepresented in STEM jobs. To help change that, we’re hosting the Battelle Mock Interview Event.

Join us on April 5 to hear best practices for making a good impression. Then, put your skills to the test and practice interviewing with a Battelle employee or other professional.

NOTE: Students must submit resumes via email after registering and prior to the event. Check your confirmation email for instructions.

Date: Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 4:30-8:15 pm. Late arrivals permitted.

Event Schedule: Thursday, April 5, 2018:

4:30 - 5:00 Students arrive and check in – learn about Battelle

4:45 - 5:00 Welcome message by a Battelle executive

5:00 - 6:00 Students see presentation - graduate students will also see a panel discussion (latecomers are OK)

5:30 - 6:00 Professional mentors and Battelle interviewers arrive and check in - select student resumes

6:00 - 7:00 Interviewers come to the microphone and introduce themselves – state the names of the student(s) they selected and the students can follow them to the buffet line and then sit together for informal networking followed by the mock interviews.

7:15 - 8:15 Interviews begin and should wrap up about 8:15, when we will escort the students and other professionals back to the lobby.
