About this event

This Basic series class will run 1.5-2 hours. It will provide all the information needed to be certified on using the equipment at Lacey MakerSpace. For more in-depth project based hands-on instruction, we offer workshops and one-on-one mentoring.

In this hands-on welding class, we will learn introductory methods for welding two pieces of steel together. Students will leave class with a custom welded name plate. We ask for donation to cover consumables but it is not required for LMS members.

For more information on the welders, go here: https://www.lincolnelectric.com/en/Products/k4602-1

Individuals are welcome to sign up for multiple Basics classes until they feel confident on the equipment.

Closed-toe shoes required. Ages 12 to 18 welcome with gaurdian.
