An in-person class for soon-to-be new parents taught by a certified lactation consultant, appropriate any time during your pregnancy.

A class for soon-to-be new parents taught by a certified lactation consultant, appropriate any time during your pregnancy. Prepare for breastfeeding with this course that covers all you'll need to know: how breastfeeding works, how to get a good latch, how to establish an abundant milk supply, how to know that baby is getting plenty of milk. In class we'll use dolls and artificial breasts to show how to hold baby in a varied breastfeeding positions and how to hand express breast milk. You'll leave knowing how to prevent and solve common breastfeeding difficulties. Partners welcome and encouraged to come.
