By Rosa Croughwell

Overview

Crochet Basics is a beginner-friendly course that covers four essential basic stitches.

This beginner-friendly course covers four essential basic stitches. This is a follow-on class to the Level 0 - Intro to Crochet Workshop. Whether or not you’ve taken the workshop or are a beginner looking to refresh your skills, this class will provide a solid foundation for the next level of your crocheting adventure. Students should know how to create a chain stitch and a single crochet stitch. Don’t worry if you are rusty; I will provide a review for those who need a refresher.

Note: This is a class for ages 16 and older. If you want to register a younger child, please message me directly.

What we'll cover:

  • Review of Foundation Chain (CH) and Single Crochet stitch (SC)
  • Half Double Crochet stitch (HDC)
  • Double Crochet stitch (DC)
  • Treble Crochet stitch (TC)
  • Slip Stitch (SlSt)

What to Bring:

Just bring a good attitude; this class includes all the necessary supplies. Note: If you are a returning student, the new supplies can be added to your existing kit.
