"Very excited to announce we’re running parties on Fridays @asylumseattle starting in June!!! We’ll be throwing a reoccurring party “BASEMENT JAXX” inspired by the classic deep house sound of Chicago and New York. Come and sweat it out on the dance floor."

I have a question about accessibility!

Our space is currently NOT wheelchair accessible (we are located down about 20 steep stairs, in the Seattle Underground). We have commercial HEPA-certified air purifiers throughout the entire space, including studios. We offer individually packaged KN95 masks & individually packaged hand sanitizer.

I have a question about COVID / CO2 stuff!

Our CO2 levels with 100-120 *masked* people (full capacity) read between 2000-2700. The numbers are about the same *unmasked* at 50 people.

Asylum Collective is a volunteer-run nonprofit arts space that throws fundraisers, dances, and hosts artists residencies, as well as free and sliding scale all-ages workshops, classes and more.

*Asylum is located down a staircase, and as a part of the Seattle Underground, cannot be retrofitted with an elevator. We are not wheelchair accessible as a result. / At some dance events, there will be moving lights (not strobe) & fog. / Masks and hand sanitizer are available, but not enforced. / We have HEPA air purifiers starting mid November 2024. / All staff have been vaccinated.*
