Wondering what to do on October 4th now that BlueStock is off? I am pleased to announce that my next Ezra Charles House Concert will be a Benefit for Barry Seelen and Anni Eason, the hosts of Bluestock. It will be held at 5254 N. Braeswood (77096), the home of Susana Collins. I will be performing a show as a trio with Jake Helpinstill (drums) and Earnest Potts (sax) that will include portions of my Story of Boogie Woogie program, as well as my regular tunes. As many of you already know, the reason for the cancellation of BlueStock was that Barry had a serious stroke that required emergency surgery. What better way to show the support of the Houston music community for this legendary keyboardist than a benefit for him and his lovable wife Anni, a former President and strong supporter of the Houston Blues Society!
