Join Beaufort Soil and Water Conservation District in partnership with Beaufort-Jasper Water and Sewer Authority, Clemson Extension, and Beaufort County Public Works for an afternoon of water and plant education, rain barrel painting at ShellRing Ale Works.



Your ticket includes one rain barrel and one adapter kit for the rain barrel. You will have the opportunity to decorate your rain barrel with acrylic paint if you desire, gain information from conservation organizations from the area, and of course enjoy ShellRing Ale Works food and beer(not included in ticket purchase) with an amazing waterfront view.

This is a family friendly event with a native plant and seed sale, giveaways, live music, and live critters. There will be a limited number of "No Water, No Beer" t-shirts for sale at the event for $15.

This event is free and open to the public! You do NOT need a ticket to attend this event. Tickets are only necessary if you wish to purchase a rain barrel.

Event Timeline:

2 :00pm Check-in & pick up barrel

2:15pm-3:30pm Visit local enviromental booths like : SC Native Plant Society, BJWSA, Clemson Extension Service, Keep Beaufort County Beautiful, Beaufort County Naturalist, Beaufort Litter Patrol, Lowcountry Montessori School Garden Club, Beaufort Conservation District, and of course, Rain Barrel Painting Station!

4:00pm Event concludes (rain barrels must be picked up by 4pm)

Rain barrels must be taken home the day of the event from Shellring.

Proceeds from this event will go to the Beaufort Soil and Water Conservation District to be distributed as environmental mini grants.

"No Water, No Beer" T-shirts are available to purchase at the event for $15.00 (quantity is limited)
