The "Barrel Proof Whiskey Tasting" is a class specifically designed to explain the what makes a bourbon "Barrel Proof" or "Full Proof." These bourbons are UnCut and UnFiltered and usually has a potency above 107 proof up to 145 proof.

Many of the major distillers make a Barrel Proof bourbon. Jim Beam, Heaven Hill, Jack Daniels, Wild Turkey and many other others are included in the brands. What you will find is the higher proofs have much more flavor profiles once you get past the proofs. This can be accomplished by just a few drops of water or a cube of ice.
