Welcome to BARBER BASEL, presented by Risk It All and Lux Neon Art Gallery — the most electrifying barber and art fusion experience during Art Basel weekend in Fort Lauderdale.

Step into an immersive world of neon, art, and creativity where barbering transforms into live art.

The night will feature high-level competitions, live music, food, drinks, and visual art installations — celebrating the future of the craft under the glow of neon lights.

Competitions

1️⃣ Neon Theme Fade (1.5 hrs)

Competitors will design a full NEON -inspired look using UV-reactive colors, lights, and creative styling.

Judged on fade execution, color coordination, and model presentation.

2️⃣ Futuristic Fade & Beard (1.5 hrs)

Barbers showcase precision fades and beard work with futuristic NEON color details OVERALL LOOK and sharp design

Judged on cleanliness, technique, and originality.

3️⃣ Art-Inspired Look (2 hrs | Team of 3)

Teams of 3 barbers will be assigned an art piece from Lux Neon Art Gallery and must create a total look inspired by that piece — blending technique, creativity, and storytelling through hair.
