Banned Book Week (October 5th to 11th) is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. This week spotlights current and historical attempts to censor books in libraries and schools.

Banned Book Week runs from October 5th to 11th. Celebrate your freedom to read by joining us for a fun-filled program celebrating the power of literature at our Banned Book Wanted Posters, Bookmarks, & Trivia event! Unleash your creativity and design your own wanted posters for banned or challenged books; along with making unique and personalized bookmarks that reflect your favorite banned or challenged book and its message.

While working on your art, see if you can guess the banned or challenged book from the clues provided in our trivia game.

This event is for adults, teens, and kids 8+. Must register for the program.
