Baltimore Minority Enterprise Development Week (MEDWeek) 2020
Event Information
About this Event
Baltimore Minority Enterprise Development Week (MEDWeek) convenes business leaders, promotes business opportunities, features outstanding Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and advocates, and reports industry trends. Amidst all the other changes, this year MEDWeek will look a little different. Situated within the MiHUB virtual campus, MEDWeek Launches With “Press & Previews” posts overviewing the week on Monday, November 9. Participants and attendees can take advantage of the “Minority Manufacturing Symposium,” featuring topics affecting businesses in the minority manufacturing supply chain, and Minority Manufacturers’ Procurement Pitches on Tuesday, November 10. In your observance of Veterans Day, visit our online tribute on Wednesday, November 11, including resource links for those veterans who are minority business owners. On Thursday, November 12, a virtual “meet the primes” style procurement fair provides a unique opportunity for networking and contacts to be made. Even while in unprecedented times, our Baltimore MEDWeek hosts – the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office of Small, Minority, and Women Business Development and the Mid-Atlantic Region Minority Business Development Agency Advanced Manufacturing Center Baltimore, in collaboration with the Manufacturing Innovation Hub (MIHUB) – are up for the challenge of bringing Minority Business Enterprises and their ideal business partners face to face.
