About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Learn how to use geospatial functions in R. We’ll explore tools for mapping, spatial joins, buffering and calculating distance — all using a single package.

We’ll center a story published by The Baltimore Banner on gun violence around schools to showcase an application of these functions and demonstrate best practices for basic geospatial analysis.
