FOCUS: Balancing Strength & Flexibility: Practice finding your end-range flexibility while mindfully activating those muscles to gain deeper length and strength.
Description: Join me, Holly, for a 6-week course on balancing strength and flexibility within your yoga practice. So many of us seek out yoga to help us with stretching our bodies, but what if we took the same consideration about creating stability as well? In each class we will focus on a different area of the body and mindfully create balanced postures utilizing our strength and flexibility in tandem. We will be geared towards finding our most flexible position, then deliberately creating resistance with our own bodies, or with the help of a prop or the floor.This course is meant to help you access your weaker areas, and when practiced regularly, will help you gain both deeper flexibility and stability in the long run. This course is ideal for anyone looking to gain more mobility, learn how to stretch more productively, or level up their practice.We will cover the back side of the body, front side of the body, hips and side of body, spine, and shoulders.~Practitioners signing up should have a basic knowledge/understanding of pose names~
