Come hear a phenomenal Mediterranean / Middle Eastern fusion music ensemble: BAKLAVA EXPRESS. The Quintet comprises Josh Kaye (Oud), Daisy Castro (Violin), Eren Erdogan, (Ney-Turkish Flute), James Robbin (Bass) & Jeremy Smith (Percussion).

The band performs original music, influenced by various traditions, from Mizrahi and Sephardi folk music, to the broader musical traditions of the Mediterranean. The eclectic influences and vast differences in the musical backgrounds of its members have created a group whose style is distinct, yet genre defiant.

This performance is held at an intimate upper east side living room setting, which has been hailed as a “Quintessential New York Townhouse Experience.”

Performance is followed by Wine Reception, Baklavas and hearty snacks with the artists.
