Frequently asked questions

Do I Need to Have Previous Training Experience?

No! All Fitness Levels are Welcome! Our participants range from beginners, new moms, and weekend warriors, to stunt women and fitness instructors. Everyone can benefit from this class because it can be adapted to meet you where you are today without feeling left behind.

What do I need to bring to class?

Just your Yoga mat and water. If you'd like extra protection for your hands and knees, knee sleeves and gloves (or grips) are a great addition to bring to class.

Strength and Conditioning Sounds Scary and Hardcore... is it?

Not Scary, and Only as Hard as you Want it to Be! "Strength and Conditioning" identifies our goals for working out. The program is based on the science of energy management, to optimize effort/ rest time in a given workout session, working towards specific performance goals in a training block.

How often should I come to class?

To make the most progress, it is recommended to come 2-3x a week to reap the full benefits of the program.

Are only women allowed to join?

This class is built with women in mind, but we welcome participants of all gender identities who support a respectful and inclusive environment.

Organized by

BAF's mission is to help you develop a strong capable body and mind that will enhance your quality of life in the present and for years to come.

We accomplish this by helping you build core competencies of strength, power, endurance, mobility, and improving the mind and body connection.

What does that mean? Simply put, we teach your body to push, pull, and lift safely and efficiently by developing strong, functional movement patterns throughout the kinetic chain. This includes identifying the origin points of force production in the body and learning proper breathing techniques to channel the energy you are creating in the direction you want it to go!
