Volunteers needed! Join in for a two-day cleanup on Crown King with Tread Lightly!, Sons of Smokey and Kenda Tire. Volunteers are welcome to camp, but need to be in charge of bringing their own gear and finding a dispersed camping spot nearby.

What to bring: Clothing layers, gloves, hiking shoes, capable 4x4 vehicle, camping gear if you are camping, food, snacks and water. Saturday night we will be eating at The Mill Inn.

Day 1 – Saturday

Start Location: BLM Staging Area (33.96919, -112.31536)

7:00 AM Volunteer check-in, gear distribution at CK Rock

12:00 PM Midday check-in via comms, light snack break

3:30 PM Begin return to rally points

5:00 PM Tools drop-off, trash consolidated at rally points

6:30 PM Group Dinner at The Mill Restaurant, Crown King23670 S Mill Ave, Crown King, AZ 86343

Evening Dispersed camping near Crown King

Day 2 – Sunday

Start Location: Crown King

7:00 AM Breakfast (self-organized)

7:30 AM Regroup at Crown King parking area

12:00 PM Midday check-in, trail status updates

3:00 PM Final cleanup and trash collection

4:30 PM Debrief and final group photo

5:00 PM Volunteers dismissed / Optional return to trailhead
